This wine has rich layers of pineapple, green apple, and apricot, with a nice edge of minerality and acidity that is balanced on the palate. This wine finishes clean and elegant with a great richness that lingers on the finish.
WINEMAKER’S NOTESThis is the type of Chardonnay that you have come to expect from Washington, full of flavor and richness, with a nice balance of acidity. All lots were fermented with 796 yeast with 96% fermented in our stainless steel upright fermenters. 4% of the Nine Canyon Chard saw 2-3 year old American Oak barrels.
